With this lovely holiday behind you, bet you'll enjoy an article in the latest 'Victoria' magazine.

But if you don't receive it by subscription, you'll have to wait till more the end of the month, to buy it on the newsstand. :-)

Omigosh, look at all those fabulous pictures from your trip to Quebec! I'm finally here to catch up on your last few posts...it's been one of those weeks with little time for visiting. I've so enjoyed looking at every picture, what fabulous scenery and love the costumes!! Now I want to go there too! lol xoxo

Diane, thank you so much for visiting my blog...it brought me back to you (I don't know why you weren't on my regular visiting list, but NOW you are, so no excuses! LOL) Oh, and what a wonderful trip I was allowed to be with you on...the costumes are fantabulous, so good to see so many people joining in. In a past life (before marriage and child :o) I was in a medieval club and we dressed in this manor and how I loved it. A long elaborate skirt and flowing robes transports to times past.

Your crown, made by your dear daughter, is magnificent and I can relate to how it brought tears to your eyes. Sorry, but I don't see any hair problem there...just a VERY happy mom!

And thanks for the tip about about adjusting for "white" in picture...miine often come out orange and I never knew why...thought MY eyes were going!

Thank you so much for categorizing and choosing from your 2000 excellent photos and sharing them...and thanks for confessing to having over 18,000 stored on your computer. I sure feel good just hearing that because now I can really go to town with my camers...ain't digitals wonderful!!

Have a great day. Get some well-needed rest. Maybe open a bottle of that special wine..LOL

I just looked at all your pictures again and what a wonderful time you had!!! You took such a wide variety of them and they are very interesting too. Can you imagine that cannon ball not being disturbed long enough for a tree to grow around it? I don't like heights so would have to enjoy the falls from where ever the bus stoped! LOL

Some of my ancestors lived in Ontario and near Montreal and the St. Lawrence so it's really special to see pictures from that part of the world.
Thanks so much for sharing them.

Oh I just can't even express how much I enjoyed those pictures! Haven't been in sooo long... I love the period costumes. We are planning (fingers crossed) a trip to Ste Anne de Beaupre in a few weekends, before the heavy snow comes...

I'll add a visit "up north" to my bucket list! Unfortunately, I've never been further north than New York. But, I'm young, I'll get there one day (ok, I'm not young, but I'll still get there).

Those are some nice pictures you took! Quebec is nice. Like Old France. Never been there but my parents have. And you would think being raised in Montreal they would of brought me there for sightseeing! sigh Glad you had fun in Quebec! :)
