Our little foster kitten Mouse has a new home and a new Mommy !!
My friend and I went to meet the prospective family and we had a chat( interviewed them),a sweet couple who has a long haired cat called Missy and a little handful of a kitten who looks just like the little white kitten on TV with the Royale TPaper commercial.
We talked to them for about 2 hours, and gave ourselves the ok look with our eyes, and then we went and picked our little guy up and all his toys and food and litter etc and brought him over there, he was very interested in his surroundings until he spotted Missy then he went and hid under the couch to figure things out,my heart went out to him then, poor little guy sure has been through a lot in the last few weeks.
The young lady loves cats and was raised around them, I could tell how much she cared for them by how she interacted with them, playing and talking to them just how comfortable she was with them, the young gentleman was so happy to have Mouse it was like I was giving him a wonderful gift, and in reality I was doing just that.
It made my heart sing to hear how genuine they loved and cared for the cats they have. Its not easy to leave a kitten behind like that in the hands of strangers.
We will keep in touch to make sure the transition works out for Mouse, she invited us to come visit him anytime, that was sweet wasen't it!!
Mouse has a house and a new Mommy life is good!!
I will miss the little guy.

After the comment I made yesterday, when I read the title and waited for the post to download, I was praying "Please, don't say that cat is coming to Texas!" haha!
We had a neighborhood cat marked that way, I called him Whiskers, because of the markings, but my friends called him Kitler (Kitty with Hitler's moustache).
I'm so happy to hear the good news that Mouse not only has a happy home but others to play with.
You've been BOO-ed. Come visit to see what I mean, :-0
So happy to hear that Mouse has a new home and Mommy.
It was a nice thing you have done for him.
I'm sure he will grow to love it there.
I'm so happy for Mouse! And you can go visit him, that's great too.
Wonder News!
Hope you have a great day!

YAY mouse...somebody to love him. Perfect! You are a good foster mommy...YAY YOU TOO!
I am so happy for Mouse. I hope he likes his new home. I talk to mine all the time and they talk to me. They even yell at me if they get mad at me. GEEZZ!! They sleep with me, watch me get ready for work in the morning. They tell me goodbye in the morning and always meet me at the door in the afternoon for a hug when I get home.
I must be Judy. :)
Such wonderful news that Mouse has found a good loving home:-) We just trapped three of the stray kittens tonight and have them in the cage downstairs...they were so terrified at first, being wild kittens, but they've now settled down. Will have to try to catch the mama and other 2 kittens tomorrow. I'm already feeling sad that they'll soon be gone because I've become so attached to all of them, especially the mama. xoxo
It sure makes you feel relieved when you find the right home for a sweet little critter like Mouse. (I do love the name)
That is the most beautiful cat! What a sweet face. I'm so glad you found a good home and took your time checking the folks out. Wish we had someone doing that for all the poor adoptees.
