I love big ones, small ones, tall ones ,short ones, fat ones, skinny ones, I love them ALL!!!!
My Maternal Grandmother had a snow globe and in it was a snowman surrounded with lots of fine sparkly snow , when you shook it , the most wonderful amaizing thing happened, it started to snow in that little globe, in my childish hand I would shake it and shake it,and every time it happened it was like a miracle to me.
I wish I had that snowglobe I can still see it clearly in my mind.I asked my Grandmother for it, my mother gasped embarrassed for me ( I was 5 or 6)... and I was not allowed to have it even tho my Grandmother insisted I keep it.It was one of those children should be seen but not heard situations...
To this day I cannot walk by a snowglobe without shaking it in wonder of the miracle within.
And that's my little Christmas story.

What a sweet story. I can only imagine how magical that must have been. I, too, asked my grandmother for a clock that she had on her console. The pendulum was a little girl on a swing and she would swing back and forth. I loved it so much, but I, too, got in trouble for asking. I also did NOT get it. I wonder whatever happened to it.
Oh, I love them also! And you'd better love snowmen. You get soooo much snow in your area!

I love snowglobes too, Diane. I wish that your mom would have let you have it. I know that I'd give my grandchild anything they wanted, and I'd be happier for it.
Such a cute post. I do love all these cute pictures. So sorry you don't have your grandmothers snowglobe. Thanks for sharing these snowmen with us

Such a wonderful childhood memory and you're right, there is just something so magical about a snowglobe, especially if it has a snowman in it:-) I have a Frosty the Snowman one and I love it! xoxo
I love them, too and have a little collection. Great graphics! I may need a snowman on my sidebar! Enjoy the season!
