Those are just beautiful. You are so lucky!! I do have some flowers that are not starting to bloom. It would help if we could get a few more days of sunshine.
Have a great weekend.
I am so jealous. We can't grow them here and I absolutely love them. Wish I had smeel-a-vision on my computer.
Peonies are lovely, are they not? :-) They get almost *too* big and beautiful and "bloooosy." :-)
Ah, we love peonies, too. We had a large clump of lovely traditional white ones with tiny tinges of red in the back yard when we moved in in 1979. I transplanted a few little pieces to the front where they took nicely. I then bought pink and red ones, but had about the same 50% luck with the new ones that you did. Your pink is very pretty. :)
Simply gorgeous!
Diane, your Peonies are so pretty. Would you believe I'm not familiar with them, they don't grow in this area, and I don't know what they smell like...... but sure sounds wonderful!
I too love that smell, we need to find a perfume with that scent in it! Come say hi :D
I so love peonies and mine have just bloomed this weekend! I love the smell of them but can't sniff too hard or I'd be inhaling tiny ants! lol They're always covered in ants which I read is normal so I don't spray them or anything. They just love the sweetness in them I guess and don't destroy the plant. Mine are the pale pink peonies and I'll be posting pictures of them in tomorrow's post:-) xoxo
Seems like just yesterday you had snow!
I have some peonies too, they're so pretty. I enjoy them every year too.
So nice to see your place minus snow, Diane! They are indeed lovely and worth the wait. My yards about to burn up already.
Brenda
Your peonies are spectacular! You deserve their blooms after such a long winter.
