The Queen !





















On Canada Day July First the Queen was in Ottawa
My daughter was in the crowd at Parliment Hill waiting for Her majesty and was not disapointed !!

I told my daughter this was a once in a lifetime opportunity !
She got such marvelous photos I just had to share !

This is the Eternal Flame in Ottawa



Today is July 4th Independence Day for my American friends I want to wish you all a Happy 4th ,I hope you get together with your families and have a fun day.

What a wonderful experience! I'm sure she will remember it always. The photos are awesome. She did a good job.
I would have loved to hear the pipers playing!

Oh My goodness that is fabulous Diane..the Queen still looks good too she must be getting pretty old..When I was about 11 or 12 and we lived in Vancouver, BC the Queen came there and we also watched as she was driven down the parade route..it was really fun.. have a good Sunday..

Excellent photos! I'm so glad you shared them. A few years ago one of the engineers was in London on business and just happened to be at the right place at the right time because he saw the Queen. He was quite excited about the whole experience. I would be too!

It is my understanding , that the Queen has connections with the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, Ky. Possibly,with a horse staying there now or maybe in the past, but I would never expect to actually see "Her" in my lifetime.A great 'show and tell' for your family,though.

Oh, what wonderful pictures of such an exciting event...this is something your daughter will never forget. The Queen looks wonderful...your daughter was so close to her, I can only imagine what a thrill that was. Thank you for sharing....hugs, Linda

The Queen is still looking marvelous for her age, but she is getting on. So your daughter really made a memory. And has the photos, to prove it.
