Those are beautiful... I can smell them from here!
Oh boy yes I can smell them! They are just lovely!
Gorgeous...it's a little known internet secret, but I've just had "aroma-blog" installed and so YES I can smell those fabulous lilacs!! Oh, OK, "aroma-blog" is all in my head (nose?) but it seems real all the same :0) I can still smell those blueberry muffins from yesterday!
Have a lovely weekend.

I can't believe you still have lilacs....ours in California are long gone! I have been enjoying some local sweet peas though that cost 5 cents each. I go over to the little "farm" and pick a couple of dollars worth at a time to enjoy. It is getting hot so I don't expect them to last very much longer....lilacs and sweet peas.....2 of life's many treasures...yum!
Your lilac pictures are beautiful!

I'm still envious that you have lilacs. They look beautiful and the fragrance is just amazing!

I love your photos. We have lilac bushes out side of our den I love to just open the windows so there scent fills the room.
Your lilacs are gorgeous! If my husband wasn't so allergic to them, I'd have them too :o)
Hi:
I came to visit via Mary's "Isabellas Closet" blog. Lilac's are so wonderful and beautiful!!! The fragrance is reaching me in Southern CA : )
I grew up with about 6 lilac bushes outside my bedroom window. How delightful; yours are!!!
Peace

Your lilacs are so beautiful, I can smell them! I love lilacs and these are gorgeous. Thank you for posting these great photos! Tina
The lilacs are gorgeous. Unfortunately I had a virus during lilac time this year and lost my sense of smell. It's only recently come back which meant I missed all that lovely lilac perfume this year!
I grew up with a big lilac hedge between our yard and the garden area. They always smelled so nice. I planted several lilac bushes a few years ago at my current home, but they're kind of puny little things. I hope someday they'll grow big like the ones when I was growing up. Yours are gorgeous.
I miss lilacs. There were lots of bushes in the little dirt road town I lived in a LONG time ago in Kansas.
While waiting for the bus in the mornings before school, we would pick them and shake water off of them.
I live on the Texas Gulf now, and there are NO lilac bushes.....
but we do have an avocado tree in our back yard.........
