Today we went for a country ride,we drove past Cedar Meadows which is a sort of conservation area, they have all sorts of animals like moose and deer and buffalo etc.. today I saw something new.... really new......... I had never seen Black Swans before today!!
So graceful and so different with the red beaks !
Was I kidding aren't they gorgeous !!!Also saw a cariboo .... I really wanted to touch his antlers, it looked like black velvet.
No I didn't>>>>>> I am not that brave, nor could I get close enough I let the camera zoom get close !
He was watching me !!Then we went for our afternoon coffee at a local lake called Gilles Lake, its in the middle of town and very popular with walkers who do the trails around the lake,it has lots of picnic tables too for people who just want to sit and enjoy the air.
This little pigeon was keeping an eye on us in case we had something for him, I totally forgot to bring seeds but I will make it up to them tomorrow.( I promise)
This guy was watching everyone hoping for a handout.
It was sunny today not really warm but certainly warmer than yesterday.
My good friend Nola from Alamo North who lives in Texas... figured if she opened her door the warm air would travel all the way up here in North Ontario
