It's so beautiful!! I fear I'd have to hibernate during a winter that cold though. I once lived for a year in Duluth, MN as a child and my strongest memory from that time is how COLD it was in Winter.

Oh it really is so pretty! But I would be viewing it through a window - that's a bit brisk for me!

I love your pictures. The snow always makes everything look so pristine and sparkly.
We have a lot here too, in fact I'm snowed in. I did a little walk about today with my camera and made a short video. It's the first one I have done and it is more funny than anything. I must learn to keep the camera focused otherwise the landscape keeps tipping over.
I hope you have a lovely Christmas.
I am curious about how you make your meat pies. They certainly look delicious.

Thanks so much for visiting my blog and leaving your heirloom recipe for meat pies. I will give it a try.
My mom used to make meat pie but her's had cubed beef, onion, potato, green beans and probably carrots. I can't remember what else. I'll have to ask my sister. Mom
s grandma was from Ontario so maybe she learned to make it from her mom and just added veggies.
I still remember how good it smelled while baking in our wood stove oven. My goodness it was so hard to wait. As kids we were always hungry and nothing ever smelled so good as mom's cooking!

If it makes you feel any better, Diane, we're below 40 degrees here! I know, not funny. When I left Oklahoma on Sunday, it was 9 degrees and I thought I was dying. I absolutely adore your scenic photos, and think framing some is a must! Happy Holidays, dear blogging friend!

I just love it when the trees are completely frosted up like that, everything looks so beautiful!! We're having another winter storm watch here today and it's expected to continue until tomorrow. At least it's supposed to get near 0c instead of the -25c we've been getting!!

May Peace be your gift at Christmas and your blessing all year through! Merry Christmas to you and yours, dear Diane. xoxo
