I Made 15 Of Them Can you guess What I Made??

Clue number #1

Clue #2
Clue #3

Did ya guess yet???? I am just wondering do my southern friends make pies at Christmas??
I made 15 meat pies that I share with some family members who don't cook but love to eat, we had one for supper tonight with a ceasar salad yummm it was sooo good.I use my Mom's recipe of course!
Don't I look tired here eh!!!
I still had 4 in the oven and 4 more to cook and a sink full of dishes waiting for me, I only do this once a year.
Today we had yet another major snow storm ,at one point it didn't know what to do it was raining ~snowing ~ hailing all at once!!!
I thought our red pines were going to topple over on the house the wind was so bad.

On the lunch hour we went for our usual Timmy coffee at the lake and fed the pigeons, poor little things were waiting for us , when they saw the car pulling into the parking lot they swamped the car , they knew we are going to feed them, there they were eating in the awful cold wind, they said it was minus 44 in the wind, that's cooold my friends, you don't want to expose skin too long it will freeze. How those poor little birds can live outdoors is beyond me.We love feeding them seeds every day its the least we can do for God's creatures.

Hey, I don't cook, and I love to eat! Send one to me!

They look yummy, and you are a good person to give so much.

15 meat pies!!! I'm afraid my husband would find me in a puddle on the floor if I tried to do that. You are super woman! Oh, I'm sure they are delicious. I could see how flaky your crust is in the close-up pictures. Good crust is the best part of any pie, savory or sweet. Well done!

My family would love it if I could bake pies. Alas, I am a disaster when it comes to baking.

The pies look delicious and the crusts look so flaky and good. That is a lot of work - well done work!

Wow! That's a lot of pies and they look so yummy! I love to bake, but there's just not the room in my teeny apartment. I'm planning on doing some when I'm visiting family over the holidays.

Those look delish; I've never made meat pies, but I ate some little meat pies in New Orleans, they were like a small fried pie you hold in your hand. All yummy and full of meat and spices. Do you think you could mail some south? I was thinking of you when I got up this am to find icy, sleety streets and temp 28 farenheit (sounds funny to you, but it's COLD to me). Enjoy the pies...

The sight of that crust in a little thumbnail on my sidebar drew me over here! Meat pies, huh? What kind? Beef? We make chicken pot pies but not necessarily at Christmas :)

My gosh Diane you deserve a medal for doing all those pies. They do look yummy though. BRRR it is cold here too but not much snow. I think I'm ready for spring.

I only made 9 meatpies and I know how tired I was afterwards so I sympathize with you!!! lol I only make meatpies once a year as well:-)

Wasn't the weather crazy yesterday? We had the rain, freezing rain then snow with those high winds and power kept going out on and off all day. Now it's back to the deep freeze. Ugh. xoxo
