Ribbon Bargains !!!!!!!

LOOK at my haul !!!!!!!!

Aren't the colors gorgeous !!!!!!!

The other day I was in a local grocery store that has a floral department , I was told later they were closing that dept .

I was shopping and walking around,I was nearly finished picking up the items on my list, and I spotted a shelf full of reduced articles, I could see ribbon in there, so I walked over and I HIT THE JACKPOT!!!!!!

The spools were reduced to 99 cents, 50 cents 25 cents and 10 cents!!!!!!!!
NO KIDDING!!!!!!!!!!

I was beside myself I was so happy, took me maybe 3 seconds to scoop all the ribbon up into my cart before someone else saw this steal of a deal.

Its all Offray ribbon, all kinds of colors.Half of them were FULL spools those were the big ticket items at a buck each !!!!~~~~~~~((YEAH I KNOW))

Offray ribbon is anywhere from a buck a yard to many bucks a yard, each of these full rolls has~~~~~~~ 100 yards.~~~~~~That dear ladies is a penny a yard!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was over the moon happy!!
I don't know what I will do with my haul of ribbon but I am just thrilled, I LOVE RIBBON!!
I have a huge and I am talking huge box of ribbon already bursting with goodness and prettyness, now I feel ribbon rich!!!!

Does anyone know of ribbon crafts ???

HAPPY TODAY TO ME!!!!!!!

My DIL makes bows for her girls hair with ribbons, a glue gun, and little hair clips. I use ribbon when I make cards sometimes. Boy you found a GREAT bargain!

I love ribbon also. Several years ago, I did almost the same thing. A florist was going out of business, and she sold me a huge box of ribbon for $5.00! I didn't even know what was in it, and of course, I still have a lot of it. But I do enjoy having such a selection when I need some ribbon for something. laurie

I have found that ribbon is always pretty on display. So if you're deep in a snow storm (not much imagining there, huh?), stick them in a pretty basket where you can just enjoy the color!

I get so excited when someone I know gets a great deal, You would think I was the one that got the deal f all deals. I would say that you found the pot of gold with that deal.

I love the new quilt you have started. I am anxious to see the finished product.

What a fantastic find.First time to visit your blog. Ribbon is something that I buy whenever I find it. Here where I live we are very limited as to where we can get ribbon. Our Walmart took the fabric department out.Our other sewing store closed. Please stop by.
Have A great weekend

Confessing that I, too, am a ribbonaholic! I bought 4 rolls 2 days ago at Michael's on clearance for a quarter a piece. Check them out too! :O)

I used to make ribbon roses and a bargain like that would have made me delighted too.
I'm sure you will have a great time with it.

Just display them... Run a tension rod through the spool and put it up somewhere that needs a splash of color. Then you can enjoy them all the time!
