Winter Up North !!

Were in the middle of a blizzard right now, more snow than you know where to shovel !!

Living up north is like that, you either accept it for all its beauty or move south.

Summer we have back flies and moskitoes that plague every moment we have outdoors.

I was born here and would not live anywhere else...........altho I love to go have extended visits in warmer climate.Wont lie about that... LOL!!!!

This is the great white north I love it here!!!

Hi Diane,
Love your photos.
We use to get alot of snow each yr. now its rare to get more than flurries to a dusting.
Mosquitoes are a problem here also!
We're the 5th generation to live on this land so Like you I'm happy here and never want to sell and move!
Have a great wk.

It's beautiful but I'm a wimp. I freeze if the temps get below 70 and they're just above freezing here now.

I may not envy the cold temps, but I do envy the snow! A "white Christmas" is pretty much an illusion here, unless it's an exceptionally wild winter ... so think of all us down south as you build a snowman for the new year!

Love all your snow pictures! Just beautiful! You should join us for Snowy Sunday. Jean

Just thought I'd pop by and please keep it up North, you know we can't handle anything more than a few inches at a time down here, otherwise it's total chaos!!!

It's been awhile since I made my way over here. Happy New Year! I love the snow scenes! Gorgeous!

I live in Southern California and my view of snow includes the local mountains, but usually never on my home. However, my hubby is from Reading, PA. and these scenes reminded him of his home town.

Blessings, KJ
