Phew its hot !!!
For me its all about a lemonade with lots of lemon !Or ........
A nice tall glass of ice water !And the air conditioner of course !
Can't eat a full meal , its light salad for us.....its just too hot for a lot of food !
Today was like breathing through a wet woolen blanket outside..... yuk humid and hot !!

Oh, it's hot here along the Ohio River, too, but our air conditioning is very good so we are surviving. It's a shame it's too hot to garden.
We're exceptionally cool here. It's been like this for a month now and we even had some light rain this a.m. I am dying for some summer heat.
Here in the West...it's so beautiful about 80*...just perfect! This is rare..usually it's so cold, in fact Spring never came! I hope it doesn't get even hotter there!
Diane,when I saw your title, it brought to my mind, the desert conditions in my yard at the present time. From all the beautiful lush grass and flowers of a month or so ago, to this, is disheartening. I hate it when everything dries up.The weather has been unbearable this last few weeks. If it were like this everyday, I would definitely have to move. I need my yard, garden, and flowers around me and doing good.They play a huge part in my life.

I agree with you on the lemonade and ice water...... the most refreshing of drinks on a hot day.

Sorry you're having those oxzygen-sucking days too! It's harder on we who don't have them too much, I think.

Hot hot hot in the Mid Atlantic states. We hit 101 yesterday, but it's supposed to cool down to 87 by Saturday. The grass is like short hay, and I can't finish my landscaping because the ground is so dry and hard. Yuck! It's nice inside, though!
Last weekend in Niagara Falls it was 46c with the humidex. No way I could live with those kind of temps!! Here in Sudbury today it's 24c with lots of sunshine and although I don't have the air conditioning on, any warmer and I'll flip the switch! lol xoxo
