Scanning Lots of Pictures

My Aunt Annette ,who is my Dad's sister gave me a lot of old pictures,and I wanted to scan them all.
I love scanning old pictures , I always share what I scan, this way everyone gets copies in our family on DVD's.~~~~~~~They are memories that last forever !!
This is a picture of my Dad and his twin sister the year is 1929, my Dad is on the left.Is this sweet or what!!
This is my gorgeous beautiful mother ,the year she meet my father.
I look very determined to drive this thing dont I!!
This is a picture of my brother and myself ages 3 and 4.
This is a sweet picture of my Paternal Grandmother with her little family, she had one more daughter after this , my father is the boy on the left.

I LOVE old pictures anyone who knows me knows that fact!!
It takes many hours to do this but soooo worth the effort.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Family memories are priceless !!!!!!!!!!!
I love your old photos; I love ALL old photos! If you ever want to come to Texas on vacation, you can have free room and board in return for your picture scanning services. Just don't come here in July, Aug, or Sept, you would melt from the heat!
I'm a twin, and my twin is a boy. Fraternal twins are even more rare than identical. Don't I sound proud? And, I didn't have a thing to do about it.
I love old photos, too. I can spin a tale in my head about what the person in the photo was thinking - what their life was like, etc. - whenever I see them. All the old "studio" photos always made people seem so stern and unhappy. I found out that the photographers would tell them not to smile and to stay perfectly still because it took so long for the picture to actually "take". It's harder to hold a smile than it is to hold a straight face so that's why everyone always looks so unhappy. lol I was relieved to learn that. I hated thinking that everyone over the last 10 generations was that miserable in life. LOL
Thanks for sharing your photos. I agree with you, they are priceless. My father shared a bunch of new photos with me while he was here. He also left with me letters he wrote home to his brother while in Vietnam and his Vietnam journal. I can't wait to begin reading.
PS Thank you for all of your thoughts, love, encouragement and continued prayers.
The photos are priceless, I too am a scan scatterbrain, I volunteer to do my pals pics and put them on disc. My husband is beginning to notice our disc tower is dwindling. I joined Ancestry.com and Genes Reunited to research my family tree and I am matching up people with the old buildings where they used to live. Our local library supplies archive photos of buildings that have been demolished. Love the recipes. YY
