Afghan Love !

I crochet this afghan ,lots and lots of Granny Squares in a dusty rose and moss green color.
It was created for my daughter with lots of love in each stitch, each one is a kiss from my heart !!

These are impatience from my tiny garden,I love the red color so bright and fun, hopefully they wont drown we have so much rain this summer its incredible.
These grow so well for me because I have a lot of shade in my back yard , I have an elm tree of huge and I am talking huge proportions, it makes a canopy over the whole of my back yard,a sight to behold !!
What grows well for you and why ???

I just love the afghan. I made one years ago with the granny squares for my bed. My best friend show me how to get started. She would stop in every evening to see how much I got done and if there was a mistake, she would have the fun of pulling it all out.
The best flower for me is marigolds and petunias. There really seem to bloom a lot and do the best.
Have a great day.

The afghan is beautiful. I'm no good with granny squares, they never come out square!
Right now the only thing that's doing well in my garden is cactus and my Mexican Bird of Paradise trees!

I've never made an afghan, how lovely! Love the impatiens, I can grow them if I plant them. Didn't plant anything this year. :(

I use to crochet. But all I could master was simple rows. I never could figure out the patterns of the ones like you've made. Of course, I really couldn't figure out quilt patterns much either. That's why I had to make my own and try and make them fairly simple! My geraniums are coming back after the heat wave, though I'm sure we'll have lots more of those. And my coneflowers and black-eyed susans are doing well.

What a beautiful afghan! I am sure she will love it.

The impatience is such a cheery flower. They do like the shade, don't they?

I like impatients too.

I've always admired your crafts, but his afghan is the ultimate gift of love.
