Afghan Granny Squares

This is what I do in my spare time, its peaceful work and not so hard on my hands as quilting.
The wool is just flying into those cute little squares.
I am the type of person that needs to do something creative all the time.I think I must have tried every craft imaginable.
When I go visiting blogs that have some sort of craft photo I am often reminded of what I use to make, and sell at craft sales.
When I go to Ottawa next week I will look into some fun wool shops there ,maybe I can find more colors that will coordinate.
What craft is keeping your fingers busy ?

I seem to be spending more time buying than actually doing. I'm hoarding for the summer when school lets out and we can't get anywhere! :)

Your granny squares are wonderful, reminds of my grandma Ruby, she was a master with a crotchet hook. I'm working on an 'I Spy' quilt for my grandson. It's all done on the sewing machine.

Smiles,
Carol

No crafts for me.

Oh good grief! Today is going to be "one of those days" I guess. I just had to *admit* that I don't do the Spring Cleaning Ritual. Now I have to *admit* that I don't craft. ,-)

I'd better watch out or I'll be drummed out of 'Pretty Blog Land.' -giggles-

My mother used to make these; how I wish that she'd taught me.

Good Morning,Diane. I ,too, must keep busy doing, doing, doing. I have put my crafts on hold for a few days to help sister Mary, at"Nails in My Pocket" finish up on her barn. My hands are swelled from working with all that wood and hammering, but we're almost there. Hope to post more pics soon. Vicki, at "My Favorite Things" will be so proud of us. Sister Sister,Stacey, is helping too, but she doesn't blog. Happy Crafting.Hope yo're having some of this lovely weather by now.
