I lost something.... I hope it stays lost forever !

I lost >>>> 20<<<<<< pounds !!!!!!!!!!!!!
No bread, no rice , no potato, no pasta, no cake, no pie ,no cookies, nothing with carbs.
Just lots of veggies, a little fruit and protein. NO CARBS !
Its not easy ladies I am an admitted carbo junky, but I had to put a stop to it so I went cold turkey !
And as crasy as it sounds I am not hungry anymore..... I can hardly believe it myself.
When I was a carb junky I was ALWAYS hungry and I am not kidding, I did control what I eat but I was still always hungry.
Not anymore !!!!!!!! Its a miracle I tell you !!!!
Anyway I wanted to share my good news and I hope to never ever see those 20 pounds ever again....... I feel so much better !!!!!!!
YEAH ME !!!!!!!

Oh Diane,..... if I could chip off 20#'s..... I'd be soooooo happy!

I know I eat too many carbs. I lost some weight 15 yrs. ago, when I stopped eating carbs..... but I was a naughty girl, and started eating all the good stuff again, and packed the weight back on again.
Thanks for the inspiration.....I'll try again!
Congratulations to you!!!

Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaa you!

But...

Will you be able to stay carb-free for the rest of your life? When others around you, are eating carbs?

I know that sounds un-kind. But... Can any of us maintain for life, the good changes we adapt for a while?

And when we can no longer stay "cold turkey" from this or from that, what happens?

I fear this is the biggest issue with all weight loss and "Good Plans." Can we maintain them, for the rest of our lives? For ever? And when we can't, what happens?

-sigh-

Ummm....Diane...I think your 20 pounds have started to find me! lol Congratulations on losing that weight, well done!!! It's not fair that it's so easy to gain and yet so hard to lose. I really admire your willpower, that's something I need to find again. Me and carbs are best friends. Sigh. xoxo

I'm going to have to start doing something myself. The weight slowly but surely just keeps creeping up. I'm so proud of you! Congratulations! (And in the midst of all the drama, too!)

Total diabetic diet I see. :) It IS amazing! It was working wonderfully for me too until all this stuff with my mom. Not able to keep a schedule and no time to fix meals. I am so happy for you that you're doing so well on it. And I'll bet your sugar is marvelous!
