More Pictures !

This was in the Parkdale Market, everything is grown nearby and picked fresh in the morning, this market goes on every day same as the bigger Biward Market.
This is a geranium , it looked like a topiary, it was so beautiful, this looked like miniature roses to me but the leaf gave it away!
Its going to look like I eat all the time with these next foody picures ((haha)), but some meals are so darn tasty, this was in Royal Thai, I love Thai food my kids go crasy for it, and the hotter the better for them(( not me I am wimpy)), these are simply the best Spring Rolls you could ever hope to eat I kid you not.!!!!
One day my daughter and I were caught in a severe downpour, and the first restaurant nearby was called The Works, its a goumet hamburger joing. The toppings are not be be believed, I had of all things Kraft Dinner as a topping I hadn't had that in years and years, with sweet potato fries, my daughter's topping had ............are you ready................... peanut butter... Yup good old peanut butter, and you know what it was delicious!! Next time that's what I will order, honest to goodness you just have to try it before you judge!!
This my dear friends has to be THE Most delicious Margarita !! Yummo !!! it went perfectly with my meal below.

Does this look wonderful or what!!! Stuffed sole and Grilled Salmon and King Crab Legs, all that buttery goodness yummm.
When we went to Bate's Island for the afternoon we took pictures of some Canada Geese with their goselings, is this adorable or what!!!

Many of you commented on the pictures I have been taking, and I want to thank you for your wonderful comments,I must tell you what kind of camera I have in case you need a new one in the future, I want to tell you that this new camera of mine is the best one I ever owned. Its not just a point and shoot tho I must warn you , you must chose which light and shutter speed and do white balance etc... but ladies if I can do it so can you !!
The camera I have is a Canon Power Shot SX100 IS , with it I bought a 16 gig memory chip plus an 8 gig memory chip so I have lots of room for pics on a trip.I am a bit of a picture nut.You might have noticed????
I am so glad you are enjoying the pictures it makes me happy to show them !!

It looks like a great vacation and a helluva lot of good eatin'! I haven't got to have a margarita, or any alcohol for that matter, for at least five (yeah, I said five) years now! Have terrible acid reflux. (Have for over 30 years) So I dare not. But boy, that one sure looked good! It is hot as the devil here in East Texas today!

Hi Diane!
Oh how I've loved looking at your blog! It's so interesting an encompasses so many things. I also love Pysanky. My dear friend Cindy did Pysanky in the past and I have a beautiful collection of her eggs. She also had professional photos taken of them with vintage tea items and had a collection of notecards made. They are beautiful. If you ever need any Pysanky note cards let me know. She still sells them.
Your photos of the goslings are so sweet. They are my favorite little critters in the spring! So soft and fuzzy and busy looking for something to eat.
I've added you to my giveaway, thanks for coming to visit me! Come back soon!!
Hugs, Sherry

Your foodie pictures are killing me this morning! I even want to try that peanutbutter burger.

I appreciate the camera advice as I am looking for a new one. My old 35 mm had all the bells and whistles and I loved playing with it. My digital is just a point and shoot and I really want more.

Isn't it unbelievable the eating we can do when we're on a trip?! lol It seems that's all Steve & I do when we're traveling! hehe Everything just seems to taste so much better. Loved all your pictures once again...would you believe I've never tasted Thai food? I don't like anything spicy so I guess that's why I've always stayed away from it. Peanut Butter...Kraft Dinner...as a hamburger topping..well, now I've heard of everything! lol It does look good though. I've heard of sweet potato fries as well but that's another food I've never tasted. I know, I'm sooo deprived! hehe xoxo

I enjoyed your pictures. I especially loved seeing the mama goose and her babies! Thank you for sharing information about your new camera. I am shopping for an upgraded camera - not a point and shoot - and I've wondered about the one you have. I will be sure to take a serious look at them soon.

Thanks for stopping by my blog and for leaving your sweet comments. It's nice to 'meet' you. I'm glad you enjoyed the story of my little daughter's adventure with my pansy painting. I'll be back again soon to see what you have to share.

I have never ever heard of having either Kraft dinner or peanut butter on a hamburger. Is this a speciality of your area?

I love your photo's, we have a lot of Canada Geese in our area (I'm in Canada, so I guess that would be normal eh!!), anyhow just before they chicks broke out of the eggs, those rotten Canada Geese would fly onto the roof tops of the house, and sqawk like crazy at the crack of dawn. I was so close to making Canada Goose pie.

I have to admit though the baby geese are so cute.
