Yes, you will miss her always, just as you will love her always. After a while, the hurt will numb, and you will remember all the happy times and be able to smile and even laugh when you speak her name. But sometimes, when you least expect it, you will cry, and that's okay, too.
My mama has been gone since Feb 25, 2007, and just the other day I started to cry in the middle of the grocery store when someone walked by wearing her perfume. Some days your emotions will just be more raw than others.
The photos of your mom are beautiful, thank you for sharing them. I'll keep you in my prayers...

What a lovely tribute to your mom. She was beautiful. It is very sad when our mom is no longer with us...but the pain does ease and our wonderful memories do bring great comfort and joy. She will always be in your heart. Sending you blessings and a big hug...Linda

I love that photo of her in the field. And the one where she jauntily has her hand behind her head. She must have had "moxie." I know you miss her, hon. And I wish I were there to hug you. Here is Brenda's virtual hug. (((HUG)))Keep talking about her to us. I so enjoy hearing what it was like to have a mother.
xoxo, Brenda

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog this morning, and especially for leaving a comment.

I'm so very sorry to read that your mother just passed away. I've only read a little bit but I have tears in my eyes already. I'm so sorry about your loss. I'm close to my own mother so I can only imagine what you are going through. Take care and please know that you will be in my thoughts.

Hi Diane, Your Mom is so beautiful and she always will be. As I read over your blog the tears flow for all of us that have lost our parents. Dad passed in Feb, 1999 and my Mom passed away Jan,2006, and Oh how I miss them. She was my best friend and now you have captured the true feeling of feeling you are an orphan. But we can't compare to them because we had great years with two people that loved us. As other have said time will pass and you will remember all the good times. Stay busy and I'll be coming by.
Hugs,
Bonnie

Thank you for visiting my blog tonight.

Your mother was a beautiful woman, in her youth and in her maturity.

My mother passed away in 1991, and I miss her everyday...but I feel her presence every day through my sweet memories.

A new friend ~

Your Mom was such a beautiful Lady. How Blessed you were to have her. You look just like her in your picture, so if you want to glimpse her again, she is very close, all you have to do is to look into the mirror, and see her pretty smile. My heart goes out to you , I cried when I read your beautiful tribute. I cant imagine what you are going through, but I am sending you prayers and hugs and hope that helps some.

This is my first time here. I came over via DebraK. This tribute is so sweet. Both of your parents were very striking to together! I'm sorry to hear of your loss. It can't be easy.

I still have both of my parents. My husband doesn't. I am more grateful for them every day.

Thanks for sharing!
