I Love Chickens !!!!!

A cluck cluck here ,a cluck cluck there ,here a cluck there a cluck everywhere a cluck cluck !!

I love love love my chickens and anything to do with chickens !!
Aren't my little peeps adorable??
I actually have more but they are in storage, when we moved I could not put everything out (know what I mean??)
Some are from my MIL some are from my son, some are from yard sales naturally,I have many of them in front of my kitchen window,I love the color of the glass when the sun shines through them,it makes me happy to see the colors, and the white ones go on a hutch which is very dark wood in the dining room, white looks great on dark wood.

I love anything with acorns too but that's another day!!!

Well, they are are simply adorable! I need to start looking for chickens. I'm a little tired of roosters. We had chickens when I was a little girl. And a mean old rooster that chased me when I went to get the eggs.

I Love the colored chickens!:o)
Another common we share. I too collect chickens and Roosters.
As a kid we had a chicken farm. Had some mean roosters, now I just enjoy pretty roosters I can set around and not worry about being attack.lol
Hope you have a great day!

Wow-sooooooooooo! You really do like chickens, don't you? ,-)))) Very pretty.

Wondering if lots of them are large? Like a container to serve soup in, I mean? Or maybe they aren't large... If "in front of kitchen window" means, on the window ledge... then they have to be smaller.

And Yes, I will post a pic of the
Totem Pole, which my husband is carving for a friend. In fact, I'll not wait till it's done, because it's a long project. I'll have to take some pics of it, as he is working on it. :-)

My Mama, Grandma and sisters all had some of those hen candy dishes over the years. I remember the iridescent red, green and blue ones in particular. Some of them had to be pretty old even back then. I couldn't tell you where they all went over the years, but I'm sure some of them were broken along the way.

I enjoyed seeing your chickens, and your wooden Indians and other yard sale finds in your last post.

Have a great weekend, Diane! :o)

Hugs,

The Other Diane

I have a couple of those chickens!! You have quite a collection!! I love them, but don't have much room to display things like that, so when I go to yard sales or thrift stores anymore, I try to only buy what I "need." Sigh.

Oh! I love chickens too! I have several hens on baskets like the ones you show here- and several others too! I especially like big, colorful roosters!

We've had REAL LIVE chickens too, but don't have any now!
