Julia and Julia

I rented this movie on the weekend and I enjoyed it so much !
Its about a young girl who loves Julia Childs and loves to cook, she buys Julia's book of Mastering the Art of French Cooking and decides to do all the recipes in the book and blog about it.
Its a good movie to sit back with and let it entertain you.
And Meryl Streep is of course just fantastic as Julia Childs that just a given !!!!
I say go ahead and watch it............ goes great with a big bowl of popcorn!!!

I really enjoyed Meryl Streep's portrayal of Julia (who I've loved for years). As far as I'm concerned, the entire movie could have been about her. I was not so impressed with the current day Julie part.

I took my Mom to see it on opening weekend and we both LOVED it!!! I especially loved the relationship between Julia Childs and her husband. Now that it's out on DVD, I may have to buy it! That slice of bread is so cute! How did you do that? Patti

Isn't it just the best movie? Meryl Streep just can't go wrong in a film, she just nails it every time it seems. Did you see Mama Mia, another good one with Meryl in it.
It's one to watch again and again.
