Pictures-Pictures-Pictures !!!

This is taken at Le Chateau Frontenac in the Champlain Room! The Chef was Jean Soulard.
Everything served was fantastic ,its a treat to go there ,everything is so lovely and beautifully presented. It took us about 2 hours to enjoy this afternoon tea, of course we has wine and port with it.I just love going there its so frivalous but such a treat !! Wish I could show you pictures of my family here, my hubby had his little finger in the air drinking his tea, he was trying to fit in with the ambiance of the place, it was soooo cute!
Ok let me explain what your looking at, its me obviously but I felt like a drowned rat, we had walked from the taxi into the Chateau in a downpour that was like a monsoon rain, my hair WAS so nice for the occasion , look at it curl here. Now look at my--- CROWN !!! Is that not the most beautiful thing, my daughter made that especially for me for this occasion, everyone in Quebec city dresses up a bit or in full costume for Les Fete De Nouvelle France, and I wanted a tiara,my wonderful beautiful smart adorable daughter who loves her Mom made this for me, I honestly cried when I saw it, I was so overcome with her thoughtfulness. Is she talented or what!! She designs bridal jewelry and she is amazing!! I felt like a Queen !!
Here are some pictures of people dressed up in period costumes of the 17th century, aren't they amaizing!! I have many many more and will put more up tommorow.

OH, you look great, and I love that tiara! How lucky to be able to go somewhere that you can dress up and wear a tiara; I am green with envy.

Oh, how sweet that she made you the tiara! I wonder if those people get paid to dress up like that? Hmmm.

Not sure if you mean that you didn't like your hair in this pic, but.. I think it is lovely.

And so is your tiara.

Wow what gorgeous costumes! What a lovely experience it must be, to be there for Les Fete De Nouvelle France.

Wow those costumes are something. It is beyond me how people from that time period kept from having heat strokes. Thanks for sharing. You look quite royal with your tiara dear heart.........

I've been reading back through your posts and MY, but you've been busy since I visited last! Love your new hairdo, and your crown is lovely. Bless your daughter's heart for making it for you. :o)

The period costumes are grand, but I sure wouldn't want to have to wear them for a day, much less all the time as they did years ago! I'll take comfort over glamor any ol' day.

Glad you enjoy my blog. I always enjoy my visits here as well, Diane. :o)

Have a blessed Sunday!

Love and hugs,

Diane J.

Just so you know - my hair does not curl on it's own and I wish it would! I think your hair looks just as great as your crown!
